Innovation Network for Biomass

The Innovation Network for Biomass (INBIOM) focuses on intelligent production and utilisation of biomass in the transition to a bio-based economy. It currently has 1,200 members and helps Danish biomass companies gain access to new knowledge, financing, new partners and opportunities in Denmark and abroad. The Innovation Network for Biomass is managed by Agro Business Park in Viborg.

INBIOM is one of 22 national innovation networks in Denmark. INBIOM is a network for professionals and other stakeholders in the biomass and bioenergy industry.

The goal of INBIOM is to bring Danish companies and innovation to the front of the line internationally. The network does this through dissemination of knowledge, company and market development, networking, internationalisation and help with entrepreneurship.

As a member of INBIOM, you gain access to a wide range of services, such as: help to projects and entrepreneurship, free marketing and profiling of you and your company, event invitations and a newsletter. The membership is free and you can become a member via INBIOMS website:

The Innovation Network for Biomass is funded by the Danish Ministry of Science, and the consortium behind the Innovation Network consists of Aalborg University, Aarhus University, Agro Business Park, AgroTech, Technical University of Denmark, FORCE Technology, Kalundborg Municipality, University of Copenhagen and Danish Technological Institute.
Moreover, relevant organisations and trade associations are represented in the steering group.
